Te Anau

Te Anau was a breath of fresh air and the gateway to some of the most beautiful lands (and waters) that I have ever had the privilege of visiting.  It will always be remembered for its serene surroundings, as well as the glorious hot shower and delicious food it had waiting for me after I returned from the Milford Track.

I particularly loved the fact that the ducks residing outside the Department of Conservation (DOC) office created havoc for motorists entering town.  It’s amusing that such a small town, which seems to be devoid of young people, still has rebels running amok around town.  Keep it up, guys!
