Mulu Bats

The Deer Cave is home to millions of bats, which often fly out at dusk to hunt for insects in a beautiful display.  Unfortunately, the bats don’t fly out every night due to the weather and the presence of nearby predators (i.e., hawks), but we were lucky (and patient!) enough to witness this event during our stay in Mulu.
