Lang and Deer Caves

The Lang and Deer Caves were very different from each other and from the other two caves we have visited in Mulu.  Again, it started off with a jungle walk.  This time, we were touring as part of a larger group.  Thankfully, my muscles have recovered mostly from Mount Kinabalu and I was able to keep up.  After our visit to the Deer Cave, we hung around for a little while to see if the bats were coming out tonight before making our way back through the jungle by torchlight.  The jungle comes alive after dark and plays its own symphony.  It’s really incredible!
