Four Plane Trips Later

Just checking in to let you know that almost 40 hours of flying and transiting, we’ve safely arrived at our first hostel in Santiago, Chile.  We’re now waiting for our room to be available so we can shower, brush our teeth and freshen up in general.  Not too many problems on the journey here, apart from a couple of delayed flights.  Of particular note, we had a scheduled 1 hour transit time at Dallas’ Fort Worth airport and the plane from LA – Dallas was delayed 1.25 hours, so we almost didn’t catch our last flight!  A bit of running in the airport and a delayed flight to Santiago due to the amount of connecting passengers meant that we luckily caught our flight and avoided spending a night in Dallas!  On the plus side, we saw a Snowball Express incoming flight and procession at LA airport, which is a plane for families of fallen soldiers.

Life is pretty exciting.  Time to go out and explore the world, now!!
